A couple Federalist articles
I got a couple things published in the Federalist recently.
Right before the Cowboys dominated Tom Brady and the Bucs in Tampa (now a distant memory after Dak’s choking in San Francisco) I wrote this piece on how to reform the NFL and really all US sports. Turns out I was thankfully wrong about the Cowboys losing that game, but the fundamental principle still stands. Playoffs are fun but they aren’t very objective or fair, especially in gridiron football.
Then there’s this piece where I rave about HBO’s the Last of Us. It’s a very impressive show from a very impressive video game. My thoughts on both are evolving a little bit, and not in a good way, especially after the universally overrated Episode 3.
